The following Terms & Conditions apply to all aspects of the Sealers Direct website.

When visiting this site and/or conducting business with Sealers Direct you are agreeing to the following:

1. Prices and Payment Terms:

1. VAT is currently not applicable to Sealers Direct own products. This does not apply to other companies recommended products displayed on our website.

2. All prices are correct at time of publishing and are subject to change without notice.

3. Sealers Direct reserve the right to adjust prices before delivery to reflect any unforeseen cost increases. In this event the customer will be notified prior to the products being dispatched.

4. Payment of goods constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions as outlined in this document.

5. Payment in full is required before products can be dispatched.

6. Goods remain the property of Sealers Direct until payment is received in full.

2. Payment methods:

1. Payment can be made by personal or business cheque – your product will be dispatched immediately upon cleared effects. Please allow 3-5 working days for cheque clearance.

2. Payment can be made by postal order - Postal orders will be treated as cash for immediate product despatch.

3. Cash on collection by appointment only. (POOLE OFFICE ONLY)
   
   
4. Secure payment can be made by credit/debit cards/paypal.

3. Delivery:

1. Acceptance of delivery constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions as outlined in this document.
   

2. Delivery rates are quoted on 2-3 day economy and apply to Mainland UK only – please call Nigel at Sealers Direct for outside mainland UK. 01202 620377 – 07899 748333

3. We may deliver your order as part deliveries.

4. Quoted delivery dates are an estimate only and the Company shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever as a consequence of failure to deliver by that date.

5. If you refuse delivery of the goods we may charge you for the cost of the delivery.

6. If goods are returned to us as undeliverable you may have to pay any costs incurred.

7. If you accept a delivery with a damaged box we cannot be held responsible for any damage to what is inside once the goods have been accepted.

4. Refunds:

1. We always strive to ensure customer satisfaction and are 100% certain that you will be delighted with your product. However in the unlikely event you should want to return an item to us we are pleased to offer all our customers 7 days from delivery the opportunity to return them to us for a refund.

2. This is fully in line and beyond all retailers legal obligations to customers under the European Directive on distance selling (Which is incorporated into UK law by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000). The regulations state that our customers have the unconditional right to cancel orders within 7 working days without having to give us a reason. Please note: The ‘7 working days’ start from the day the goods are delivered to the delivery address.

3. If you wish to return any items purchased from us you must give us written notice within 7 days of receipt.

4. All returns must be returned at your cost, all goods must be returned unopened and unused in their original packaging and in perfect condition within 7 days of receipt.
   
   
5. Payment for the returned goods will be refunded within 30 days of the goods being received by us, less any costs incurred.
   
   
6. A restocking fee may apply.
   
   
7. Special formulations or orders made to your specifications are exempt and will not be refunded.

5. Defective Goods and Suitability for use

1. The information offered about our products is done in good faith based upon information believed to be true. It is offered for your consideration but no warranty is offered or implied.

2. You should ensure the product is suitable prior to use. This is particularly important when the surface to which it is to be applied has been sealed/ treated previously.

3. We warrant that our products will be free of defects for a period of 12 months from date of despatch. As we have no control over application or installation no claims will be accepted for defects on applied or installed products unless they relate to a defect in the product itself.

4. Any chemical product that is claimed defective as a result of negligent storage whilst in your possession will render the warranty null and void. Chemical must be stored in dry conditions, protect from frost and freezing.
   
   
5. In the unlikely event of the product proving defective any claim will be limited to the cost of replacing the defective goods.
