How to seal block paving driveways

We make it easy for DIY'ers to seal their own driveways and patios.

All it takes is the right chemicals, equipment and a bit of time to achieve that professional finish.
The result: Money saved and DIY satisfaction

Starting with good quality materials will make a huge difference to your project, using cheap or inferior sealer to save money will result in wasted time, effort, weeds coming back through within 6 months and your project needing to be completed again.

The most simple and popular method for DIY'ers to seal their driveways and patios is by roller or broom.
Very low cost and the items needed can be purchased quickly from DIY outlets

Want to spray on your sealer?
For solvent based sealer you will need a course droplet low level pump sprayer with fan jet tip, this sprayer will need to be highly solvent resistant or it will fail after a few minutes of using due to the solvents destroying the "O" rings. If you wish to keep the sprayer for use another time, you will need to purchase our Sealer Thinners to clean it.

For spraying solvent free sealer like our Eco HD Block paving sealer you will need a similar sprayer but no need for solvent resistant seals as it cleans with soapy water. Even so, our advice for applying solvent free sealer is by broom or roller as the product needs to be applied quite heavy

A word on pressure washers:

To complete a full refurb you are going to need to use a pressure washer, small jet washers that have pencil jet nozzles are not the ones to use.

For speed and to achieve a professional finish you will need to use a machine that has either a dirt blaster nozzle, cyclone nozzle, or a turbo nozzle.

You can hire a pressure washer and a flat surface cleaner (just like the professionals use) from most tool hire shops or you can purchase them.
